FAQs
What airport should I fly into?
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is the closest to both the venue and hotels. Chicago O’Hare (ORD) usually has more flight options and is about 1.5 to 2 hours away by car. If you fly into O’Hare, we recommend renting a car.
Where should we stay?
We’ve reserved hotel blocks in New Berlin, about 30 minutes from the venue. There are hotels closer to the venue, but we recommend staying in New Berlin based on local advice and guest experience.
Will there be transportation to the venue?
We’re planning to provide shuttle service between the hotel blocks and the venue. Details are still being finalized, so check back closer to the date for full information.
We're coming from out of town — what should we check out?
The area is near the bride’s hometown, so most visits are spent with family, but there’s plenty to explore nearby. Milwaukee is just a short drive away, with great breweries, beaches along Lake Michigan, and excellent cheese curds. The Milwaukee Public Market is a fun spot for lunch or souvenirs. If you’re up for a longer adventure, Chicago is about 90 minutes away.
What should I wear?
The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception in a barn. Wisconsin weather in late spring can be unpredictable. It might be warm, chilly, or somewhere in between, so we suggest cocktail or garden party attire and recommend bringing a layer just in case.
Can I bring my kids or a plus-one?
We’re so excited to celebrate with everyone invited, and we’re keeping the guest list to those named on your RSVP group.
