Toryn and Peter met online 🔥 in May 2022 in Ithaca, NY. They quickly bonded over their shared love of hiking, dogs, and food as they explored the finger-lakes region. They each showed their affection for the other by cooking; Peter loved Toryn’s meatloaf while Toryn loved trying Peter’s tagine, but not the rice 😉

A few months after meeting, Toryn moved to Texas for a faculty position at Texas A&M University. They successfully continued their relationship long distance until Peter moved down in January 2023. Since, they have built a life exploring the world together, navigating homeowner projects, and loving their family of four pets. Peter and Haleth drag Toryn and Ruby on countless never-ending dog walks.
